Blog reset, May 18, 2026

I’m Vinicius Batista. “apolzek” is a nickname born from the combination of two people I met during the IRC chat days: Apol-0 and ZekAng3l. With them, I learned far beyond technology, gaining knowledge across diverse fields and especially an understanding that different and even conflicting perspectives can coexist within the same space. This has everything to do with what I’ll be trying to do here !!

Right now I’m using a picture of Júlio from Cocoricó because he represents exactly what I’m trying to recover: genuine curiosity. Asking more questions, being honest, keeping things simple, and relearning how to learn.

This blog is a relatively organized chaos: technical writing, philosophical reflections, occasional confessions, and a few scattered ideas.

I mainly write for myself, but I also intend to share texts, especially about mistakes, lessons learned, and hard-earned experience, that may help people grow professionally in areas where I have more experience, such as reliability engineering and platform engineering.

This is not just a blog. It is a piece of my original self.
